Important: Please ensure your baby's umbilical cord stump has completely fallen off and healed before your appointment.

Hydrotherapy is suitable for individuals of all ages, from infants to the elderly. For infants and toddlers, early exposure to water therapy enhances motor development and sensory integration, providing a foundation for healthy growth. Our hydrotherapy sessions are available for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old

Who should not do hydrotherapy?

People with certain health issues should avoid hydrotherapy, such as those with open or infected wounds, uncontrolled heart or breathing problems, and contagious illnesses like diarrhea or fever.

What Are the Side Effects Of Hydrotherapy?

After a hydrotherapy session, your child may feel quite tired as they’ve used a lot of their energy performing exercises in the water. We would always recommend an increase in fluid intake immediately after a hydrotherapy session. They might also feel slight muscle soreness (DOMS) in the days following.

Hydrotherapy can be used to treat a range of conditions and the symptoms they present including Cerebral Palsy, developmental delay, genetic conditions, hypermobility, high and low tone muscles, spasticity and juvenile arthritis.
